Miller Cooper is seeking an Audit Manager to join our growing team in the Chicago area. With over 105 years in Chicagoland, we offer a hybrid work environment with offices in Chicago, Deerfield, and Downers Grove, emphasizing mentorship, career growth, and a balance between client service and personal time.

You will manage engagements, review work products, supervise staff, mentor teams, and expand client relationships year-round.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• CPA license required.
• 5+ years of experience in public accounting.
• At least 1 year of experience at a Manager level.
• Willingness to travel between client locations and offices.

Responsibilities

• Manage the overall progress of engagements, staffing, budgets, deliverables, and deadlines.
• Review all workpapers, financial statements and tax returns before submission for review.
• Supervise assigned in charge/supervisors and ensure evaluation reports are complete.
• Mentor teams during engagements and support career progression.
• Maintain client relationships year-round and identify opportunities for additional services.
• Build trust with owners/decision makers and the accounting team.
