Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP (CLA) is seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join its State and Local Government practice in the West Region. The role focuses on leading and developing client relationships, supervising engagement teams, and guiding audits and financial planning for local, county, and state agencies.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, at least six years in a public accounting environment, and CPA certification.

Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Director/ Manager role:

What you will need

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm driving strategic management.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred CPA license certification is required.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact the position of pay within the range. The compensation range for this position in California is $102,000.00-$194,000.00. The compensation range for this position in Colorado is $107,000.00-$175,000.00.
