Job summary

CLA is a top 10 national professional services firm seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join our State and Local Government practice in the West Region. You will lead governmental audits, mentor teams, and drive engagement progress while building strong client relationships in Denver and surrounding areas.

We require a bachelor’s in accounting/finance and at least 6 years in a large firm, with CPA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm.
• Experience leading teams and managing governmental audits; CPA license preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

CLA is currently seeking an Audit Director/Audit Manager to join our State and Local Government (SLG) practice in any of our West Region Offices. Our SLG group is one of the fastest growing practice areas within CLA consisting of 600 professionals serving over 2100 local, county, and state government agencies.

How you’ll create opportunities in this Audit Director/Manager role

What you will need

• You have a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• You have a minimum of 6 years of experience in a large professional services or public accounting firm driving strategic management.
• Experience leading teams of high performing people and managing governmental audits and Single audits strongly preferred.
• CPA license certification is required.

Our approach to compensation emphasizes collaboration and career growth. We pay competitive wages and view compensation as an investment in our people. Factors such as geography, experience, education, skills, and knowledge may impact the position of pay within the range. The compensation range for this position in California is $102,000.00-$194,000.00. The compensation range for this position in Colorado is $107,000.00-$175,000.00.
