Job summary

Truist is seeking an experienced Audit Services professional in Raleigh, NC to lead reporting and analytic efforts. The role supports hundreds of teammates and partners with senior leaders to strengthen internal controls and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or related field, or equivalent education and related training or experience
• Six or more years of financial institution, auditing, public accounting or other relevant experience in a reporting function
• Broad understanding of banking industry and SR 13-1 guidance
• Design and implement process enhancements addressing regulatory and supervisory reporting requirements
• Influence without authority across all levels of the organization
• Strong business writing and communication skills
• Interact with senior leadership and audit professionals
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Understanding of risk management and process concepts
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Participate in developing and providing comprehensive and timely reporting of audit results to key stakeholders.
• Participate in design, development, implementation, and improvement of Audit Services processes, especially data and reporting.
• Support 500+ Audit Services teammates in application of methodologies and policies; respond to questions.
• Participate in design and timely implementation of special initiatives, resolving issues and mitigating risks.
