Job summary

CFS is seeking an Audit Manager in the Atlanta area to lead and manage financial statement audits from planning to completion. This role offers a true 40-hour work environment with a flexible hybrid schedule (3/2) and ample opportunities for long-term growth.

The ideal candidate has a CPA, 10+ years of public accounting experience, and strong GAAP knowledge. Expect leadership visibility, staff mentoring, and frequent collaboration with internal teams in a stable firm with generous benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required.
• Active CPA license required.
• 10+ years of public accounting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and auditing standards.
• Experience with Engagement Manager or CaseWare preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage financial statement audits from planning through completion as an Audit Manager.
• Mentor and develop staff in your capacity as an Audit Manager.
• Analyze client operations and apply insights to engagement execution.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal teams and oversee engagement progress.
• Travel locally within the Atlanta metro area as needed.
