Job summary

U.S. Bank in the United States is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its Corporate Audit Services team.

The role focuses on supporting centralized audit activities, including continuous monitoring, management reporting, and quality initiatives, with a mix of contributor and lead responsibilities depending on engagement complexity. You will plan and execute audits, assess risk and controls, draft issues and recommendations, and assist in final reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
• Typically more than five years of applicable experience
• Advanced knowledge of laws, regulations, financial services and regulatory trends
• Strong analytical, process facilitation and project management skills
• Effective presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Assisting the audit team management in planning audit engagements, understanding risk and risk management techniques, identifying business processes and controls
• Performing or supervising staff auditors in testing of controls and documenting work to support audit scope and conclusions
• Drafting audit issues, root causes, and recommendations that are actionable and cost-effective
• Assisting in reporting and wrap-up phases of audits and drafting audit reports
• Learning from coaching and performing other duties as requested by management
