Based at a U.S. Bank location, the position requires strong communication, risk assessment, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a regulated environment, delivering high-quality audit results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience; typically more than 8 years of applicable experience.
• Advanced degree or professional certification (CIA, CPA, CISA) preferred.
• 8+ years of audit or risk management experience with at least 3 years in project leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of Payment Services industry risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Audit Planning & Risk Assessment: develop and maintain a risk-based audit plan for Payment Services for a 12–18-month horizon.
• Audit Execution & Quality Assurance: manage end-to-end audit projects and draft clear audit reports.
• Stakeholder Engagement: build relationships with leadership, risk teams, and regulators.
• Team Leadership & Development: provide guidance and performance feedback to audit staff.
• Reporting & Governance: prepare and review reports for senior management and committees.
