Wipfli in Naperville, IL invites talented accounting interns to join our team in-person five days a week. This paid internship offers exposure to audit procedures, client service, and real-world accounting experiences within a collaborative, supportive firm culture.

You will participate in data analysis, document preparation, and process improvement initiatives, while developing communication and teamwork skills to become a trusted business advisor for clients and colleagues.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting with CPA exam eligibility.
• GPA 3.0+ preferred.
• Data Analytics or Big Data coursework preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Respond to client and firm requests promptly and professionally.
• Gather information for required documents.
• Use data analysis to identify patterns and support recommendations.
• Identify process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Assist with audit tasks, reviews, and compliance testing as directed.
• Prepare financial statements and footnotes under supervision.
