Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP is offering an internship in either assurance (audit) or tax, with possible part-time or full-time arrangements. Interns will work on client engagements and gain exposure to multiple industries while learning from senior staff and management.

Interns should be progressing toward CPA eligibility, maintain a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate solid accounting knowledge, time management, and strong communication. Microsoft Office skills and reliability are expected.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic performance in accounting coursework.
• Pursuing CPA Exam eligibility is required.
• GPA minimum of 3.0 expected.
• Reliable transportation to and from assigned office required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; ability to learn audit software.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Help draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
