Job summary

Forvis Mazars, LLP invites motivated students in the United States to join internships in assurance, tax, or a mix of both. You will work on client engagements with senior staff, gaining exposure to diverse industries and testing your accounting skills.

Depending on office needs, internships may be part-time or full-time and run from winter to early spring or through summer. We seek forward-thinking students with solid accounting knowledge, strong time management, communication, and teamwork

Qualifications

• Solid accounting knowledge and foundational auditing/tax concepts.
• Good time management and ability to handle multiple tasks.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and teamwork.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools.
• Demonstrated initiative and problem solving in academic or work settings.

Responsibilities

• Assist in audit testing of financial statement accounts.
• Collaborate with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze data.
• Contribute to drafting management letters and audit reports.
• Participate in client meetings alongside senior staff and managers.
