Wipfli in Wisconsin is seeking an intern accountant to support client engagements, gather information, perform data analysis, and help prepare financial statements and notes.

You will work with engagement leaders, develop GAAP knowledge for product lines, and contribute to process improvements while meeting deadlines. The role emphasizes communication, independence, and teamwork in a professional services setting, with opportunities to learn CPA concepts during the internship.

Formación

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting with taxation coursework.
• Working towards CPA exam eligibility upon graduation.
• Preferred coursework in Data Analytics or Big Data.

Responsabilidades

• Respond to client and firm associate requests promptly and professionally.
• Gather necessary information from clients to complete required documents.
• Use data analysis to identify useful information and support recommendations.
• Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency.
• Perform audit, review, and compliance testing per standards.
• Communicate with engagement leaders regarding open items and testing issues.
• Prepare or review financial statements, footnotes, and engagement outputs.
• Develop GAAP competency related to assigned product lines.
• Work individually and as part of a team on client engagements.
