Job summary

Crowe Internship in Audit & Assurance offers hands-on experience across our U.S. offices, with Chicago HQ as the main location and Boston as a potential site.

You’ll be part of a collaborative team that uses AI-enabled insights and analytics to enhance client service. During the internship you’ll audit client financials, transactions, and internal controls, applying data analytics, visualizations, and process automation.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Accounting or similar degree.
• CPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license. These requirements vary by state and must be satisfied prior to starting.
• Strong academic credentials
• Proficient with Excel
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs)
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels
• Desire to travel

Responsibilities

• Audit client financials, transactions and internal control processes.
• Work independently and with a diverse group of audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service.
• Use audit tools and technologies with analytics, data visualizations and process automation to analyze client data and provide exceptional client experience.
• Engage in diverse client engagements across industries including manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance and financial institutions.
• Contribute to benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.
