Qualifications

• Must be an Accounting major with a 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Strong Excel skills and understanding of spreadsheet functions.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Able to work effectively with clients and coworkers.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the 2027 Aprio Audit Spring Internship in the San Antonio office.
• Receive on-the-job training and real-world accounting experience.
• Work with small, medium, and large clients.
• Have one-on-one contact with clients and partners.
• Develop a solid general accounting foundation.
• Participate in hands-on accounting projects.
• Work on financial reporting capabilities and internal controls.
• Evaluate accounting issues.
• Stay current with new accounting regulations.
• Assess the quality of information used for strategic business decisions.
• Identify opportunities to improve operating efficiencies.
• Build relationships with middle- to large-sized audit clients.
• Participate in group volunteering and social impact projects.
• Attend networking events and activities with employees and partners.
