Job summary

ADKF is seeking an Audit Intern in San Antonio to join a collaborative team where curiosity is encouraged and learning happens daily. You’ll gain hands-on experience across multiple industries with onboarding and on-the-job training to build skills and confidence while delivering excellent client service.

This is a full-time, in-office internship. You’ll support client engagements, including audits and reviews for-profit and non-profit, assist seniors, managers and partners, and pursue CPA

Qualifications

• Accounting major with a GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
• Undergraduate degree completed before start or in final year of study.
• Completion of an auditing course at internship time preferred.
• Actively pursuing CPA certification and willing to pursue CPA designation.
• Travel may be required within San Antonio and surrounding areas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provide support on client engagements, including audits and reviews of both for-profit and non-profit organizations
• Assist audit seniors, managers and partners in all aspects of client engagement including: planning, field work, and report preparation
• Other duties as needed and assigned
• Willing to pursue CPA designation
• Be knowledgeable on a first-year staff level by the conclusion of the internship
• At conclusion of internship there may be opportunity for a full time permanent position with the firm
