Job summary

Forvis Mazars US offers internships in assurance and tax at our Chicago area offices. You will gain hands-on experience on client engagements typical for entry-level associates, across varied industries, while learning from senior staff.

Internships can be part-time or full-time depending on office needs, with winter internships January–April 15 and summer internships June–mid August. You will develop accounting and testing skills and participate in client meetings with partners.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework expected.
• Intern candidates must be working toward CPA Exam eligibility.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts (cash, payables, fixed assets).
• Collaborate with client personnel to reconcile differences and analyze data.
• Draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participate in client meetings with partners and managers.
