Job summary

PwC in Utah is seeking an Audit Intern to learn by supporting audit teams on financial statement audits, applying PwC methodologies, and gaining exposure to GAAP and GAAS. You will observe and participate in the audit process, building a foundation for your accounting career.

You will perform basic tasks, conduct research, and observe professional practices while developing commercial awareness and a strong personal brand.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state of employment.

Responsibilities

Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gaining exposure to auditing methodologies.
Participating in review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
Assisting in analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
Documenting audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
Learning GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
Collaborating with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
Contributing to evaluation of internal controls and identifying areas for improvement.
Using data analysis to support the audit process and improve financial reporting.
Observing experienced auditors to build foundational audit practices and client interactions.
