Job summary

PwC’s Audit Japanese Business Network Intern role offers hands-on experience supporting teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese clients within PwC’s Assurance practice. You will learn PwC methodologies, perform basic tasks, analyze data, and prepare reports while developing professional and technical skills in a collaborative environment.

Candidates should be pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's in Accounting with at least a 3.0 GPA, strong Japanese and English fluency,

Qualifications

Pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Minimum 3.0 GPA overall.
Fluent in Japanese and English for business communication.
Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
Typically a third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program at application.

Responsibilities

Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits for Japanese business clients.
Participate in the review and verification of financial documents for accuracy and GAAP/GAAS compliance.
Assist in data analysis and interpretation to identify financial trends.
Document audit processes and findings to maintain transparency and integrity.
Collaborate with team members to address issues and manage audit risks.
Learn PwC methodologies and practices through hands-on participation.
Prepare and present financial reports in collaboration with auditors.
