Brown Plus is seeking an Audit Intern to join our team at one of the following office locations: Westminster, MD, Frederick, MD or Hanover, PA. The intern will gain hands-on experience under supervision, performing tasks across teams within a public accounting firm.

The internship provides exposure to accounting, assurance, tax and consulting services, preparing the intern for a future career in the field. Compensation is $26.00 per hour for this intern position.

Qualifications

• Accounting major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and in major
• Sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student
• 150 credit hours preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license or reliable transportation

The purpose of the Brown Plus Intern is to fulfill tasks set out by various teams to gain valuable experience and insight into the everyday environment of a public accounting firm. The internship is a hands‑on experience which will prepare the intern for a transition into their career. The intern will operate under direct supervision and the responsibilities of the Intern will vary depending on the team.

Requirements

• Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and in major
• Looking for sophomore, junior, senior or graduate students
• 150 credit hours preferred but not required
