Job summary

Brown Plus, a premier advisory firm with offices across Pennsylvania and Maryland, seeks a Tax Intern to join our award-winning team. The intern will work under direct supervision, performing tasks across accounting, assurance, tax and consulting services to gain real-world experience.

We welcome sophomores to graduate students and require an accounting major with a 3.0 GPA or higher. The position offers hands-on training and exposure to multiple practice areas within a public accounting

Qualifications

• Accounting major
• Minimum GPA of 3.0 overall and in major
• Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Graduate students
• 150 credit hours preferred but not required
• Valid driver’s license or reliable transportation

Responsibilities

• Assist teams with tasks to gain valuable experience
• Operate under direct supervision; responsibilities vary by team
• Support tax, accounting, assurance and consulting tasks as assigned

The purpose of the Brown Plus Intern is to fulfill tasks set out by various teams to gain valuable experience and insight into the everyday environment of a public accounting firm. The internship is a hands-on experience which will prepare the intern for a transition into their career. The intern will operate under direct supervision and the responsibilities of the Intern will vary depending on the team.

Requirements
