PricewaterhouseCoopers is seeking an Audit Intern to join the Assurance practice in the United States. You will gain exposure to financial statement audits while supporting client initiatives and applying PwC methodologies.

As an Intern, you will perform basic tasks, conduct research, observe professionals, and develop a learning mindset to contribute to project goals and your future career in audit and assurance.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA overall.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your state before starting full-time.
• Intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a 4-year program or fourth year of a 5-year program.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in financial statement audits and use auditing methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance with standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to keep records organized.
• Learn GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks and apply them.
• Collaborate to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and suggesting improvements.
• Utilize data skills to support the audit process and improve reporting quality.
• Observe experienced auditors to develop a foundation in audit practices and client interaction.
