Qualifications

• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your intended state of employment.
• Intern positions are entry-level; typically in 3rd year of a 4-year program or 4th year of a 5-year program.

Responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in financial statement audits and GAAP/GAAS application.
• Review and verify financial documents for transparency and compliance with standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings for organized records.
• Learn and apply GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborate with team to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Support evaluation of internal controls and improvement opportunities.
• Use data analysis to enhance quality of financial reporting.
• Observe experienced auditors to understand audit practices and client interactions.
