Job summary

PwC invites motivated students or graduates to join our Assurance practice as an Audit Intern in Charlotte. You will support audit teams on financial statement audits, learn PwC methodologies, and assist with client documentation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or has completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA and eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state.
• Entry-level internship with focus on audit support and GAAP/GAAS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in financial statement audits and apply auditing methodologies.
• Review and verify financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn GAAP and GAAS in practical audit tasks and apply them in assignments.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risks.
• Contribute to evaluating internal controls and identifying improvements.
• Use data analysis to support audit quality and financial reporting.
• Observe experienced auditors to understand client interactions and processes.
