Job summary

You will support teams by researching, performing entry-level duties, and applying GAAP/GAAS while developing commercial awareness and a professional personal brand for future opportunities.

Qualifications

• GPA of at least 3.0 overall.
• Presently pursuing or has completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA exam eligibility in the intended state.
• Intern/entry-level role; typically in third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Support audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and learn auditing methodologies.
• Assist in reviewing and verifying financial documents to ensure transparency and compliance with standards.
• Analyze and interpret financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn GAAP and GAAS as part of audit tasks and apply them to assignments.
• Collaborate with team members to monitor financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Assist in evaluating internal controls and identifying areas for improvement.
• Utilize data analysis skills to enhance the quality of financial reporting.
• Observe seasoned auditors to understand client interactions and audit practices.
