As an Intern, you will perform basic tasks, conduct research, and learn PwC's audit methodologies while developing your professional brand and commercial awareness through varied assignments and observations of experienced auditors.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
• At least a 3.0 overall GPA.
• Must meet educational requirements to be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in your state of employment.
• Intern positions are entry-level; typically third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Supporting audit teams in conducting financial statement audits and gaining exposure to auditing methodologies.
• Participating in the review and verification of financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Assisting in the analysis and interpretation of financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Engaging in the documentation of audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learning and applying GAAP and GAAS in audit tasks.
• Collaborating with team members to monitor and analyze financial trends and assess risk factors.
• Contributing to the evaluation of internal controls and identifying areas for improvement.
• Utilizing data analysis to support the audit process and enhance financial reporting.
• Observing and learning from experienced auditors to develop foundational audit skills.
• Travel up to 20%.
