Job summary

PwC is seeking an Audit Intern to gain hands-on exposure to financial statement audits within our Assurance practice. You will support teams, observe, and learn PwC’s audit methodologies while developing professional skills in a collaborative environment.

This internship emphasizes learning, initiative, and client interaction, with assessments of internal controls, GAAP/GAAS concepts, and data analysis to identify trends.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Bachelor's in Accounting with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the intended state of employment.
• Entry-level intern role; typically in the third year of a four-year program or fourth year of a five-year program.

Responsibilities

• Assist audit teams in financial statement audits and GAAP/GAAS application.
• Review and verify financial documents to uphold transparency and compliance with accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and provide insights for decision-making.
• Document audit processes and findings to maintain organized records.
• Learn PwC methodologies and support client interactions.
