Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen (CLA) is seeking an Audit Director to support our National Assurance Group. The ideal candidate will have extensive audit technical review experience with FASB reporters and the ability to handle complex debt and equity transactions.

Location is flexible and the role reports to the Managing Principal of Service. You will interact with teams across the Firm, perform quality control reviews, and develop improvements while guiding engagement teams on accounting and assurance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 6+ years in a public accounting environment or equivalent.
• CPA or equivalent.
• Supervisory experience driving strategic management.
• Knowledge of FASB and GAAS.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control review of assurance engagements.
• Lead and collaborate across teams and with clients as needed.
• Analyze observations, perform root cause analysis and develop process improvements.
• Serve as a technical resource for engagement teams on professional standards and GAAP.
• Develop assurance methodology and learning aids for new standards.
• Create thought leadership for internal and external users.
