Job summary

CBIZ is seeking a senior audit leader to drive engagements in asset management, including private equity, infrastructure, and real estate funds. You will be the principal client contact and trusted advisor, guiding teams and delivering high-quality attest work in accordance with US GAAP.

You will help grow CBIZ's presence in New England, lead regional initiatives, and ensure billing targets are met while mentoring staff and advancing technical accounting practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 8 years of experience in public accounting or related field.
• 6 years of supervisory experience.
• Active CPA or equivalent certification.
• Ability to manage deadlines, multi-task, and prioritize assignments.
• Proficient use of applicable technology.
• Strong verbal and written communication across all levels.
• Demonstrated integrity, client service and leadership.
• Willingness to travel as client needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Lead audit engagements in asset management.
• Act as key client contact and trusted advisor.
• Help grow the practice in New England and contribute to national initiatives.
• Manage the practice to meet billing targets and drive efficiency.
• Participate in business development opportunities for CBIZ.
• Ensure quality control in line with US GAAP and regulatory guidelines.
• Assist in design, planning and review of attest procedures for investments and disclosures.
• Serve as SME on asset management topics and provide research insights.
• Mentor and build out staff with a growth mindset.
