Job summary

LeoForce is seeking an Audit Director in Los Angeles, CA, to lead government and not-for-profit audits and coordinate complex engagements with senior teams. You will drive audit quality, client relationships, and compliance with GAAS, GAGAS, and Uniform Guidance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in public accounting with ≥2 years in a senior manager role.
• Experience auditing state and local governments (cities, counties, districts, schools).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Holds a current and valid CPA license.
• Ability to travel to client sites and other office locations.
• Auditing in accordance with GAGAS/Yellow Book, GAAS and Uniform Guidance.
• Exposure to audits of not-for-profit organizations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee audits for government and nonprofit clients.
• Mentor and manage audit teams across engagements.
• Ensure audit quality and regulatory compliance across projects.

• Experience auditing state and local governments (i.e., cities, counties, special districts, charter Schools etc.)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• Holds a current and valid CPA license
• Ability to travel to client and other office locations
• Significant experience conducting audits in accordance with General Accepted Governmental Auditing Standards (GAGAS/Yellow Book), Generally Accepted - Audit Standards (GAAS) and the Uniform Guidance
• Exposure to conducting audits of not for profit organizations
