Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Senior internal audit data analytics professional to lead technology-enabled solutions across audits, SOX, investigations, and special projects. You will develop analytics, automate testing, and promote AI usage while training staff. The role blends remote and onsite work with occasional travel.

Ideal candidates will have 4+ years in data analytics, 3+ years in audit, and strong collaboration skills. CPA/CIA/CISA/CISSP preferred, with a bachelor’s in a related field.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, automation, finance, technology, or risk.
• 3+ years of audit experience preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Up to 10% overnight travel.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking.
• Data mining and analytics experience.
• Knowledge of data prep, quality, validation, analysis, and visualization concepts.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities independently with stakeholders.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical audiences.
• Experience working in agile environments as team member/leader.
• Ambiguity handling and integrity in leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains data analytics, dashboards, and automated testing routines to improve audit coverage and insight.
• Manages scope, time, budget, and resources for continuous improvement of analytics and AI initiatives.
• Considers data governance, privacy, security, and responsible AI requirements when developing solutions.
• Delivers high-quality client service and audit deliverables.
• Provides cross-functional recommendations using data to resolve issues.
• Offers training and hands-on coaching on analytics, automation, and AI tools.
• Collaborates with data architects/engineers to collect/analyze data.
• Builds expertise across data intelligence and technical accounting topics.
• Contributes to department strategies and initiatives.
• Overnight travel up to 10%.
