Job summary

Talnt, a growing public accounting and advisory firm in Tulsa, seeks an Audit & Assurance Senior who will move beyond executing an audit plan and take real ownership of engagements and client relationships from planning through completion.

You'll work closely with management, guide staff, apply GAAP/GAAS, and help strengthen internal controls while managing budgets and deadlines, accelerating progression toward manager-level responsibilities.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of audit and assurance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Strong GAAP/GAAS knowledge and internal controls.
• Experience preparing audit workpapers and financial statements.
• Capable of managing multiple engagements and deadlines.
• CPA, CIA, or active progress toward certification preferred.
• Experience with diverse client portfolios is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of audits from planning to delivery.
• Work with client management to assess risk and resolve issues.
• Perform substantive testing and control evaluations.
• Prepare financial statements and governance communications.
• Coach staff and junior auditors to improve quality.
• Identify opportunities to improve audit efficiency and client controls.
