Job summary

CCK Strategies, PLLC seeks an Audit & Assurance Manager to identify strategic consulting opportunities, develop next generation talent, and cultivate client relationships. The role rewards advisory mindset and cross-industry collaboration across projects to expand service offerings.

The manager will lead engagements, supervise staff, train teams, and ensure quality through technical reviews, while staying current on AICPA audit standards and firm quality systems.

Qualifications

• CPA license in the US.
• Minimum 3 years in public accounting or internal audit.
• Experience with assurance products: compilations, reviews, or audits preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage assurance engagements from initiation to completion.
• Lead and develop Audit Staff and Seniors assigned to engagements.
• Coordinate with staff and partners to ensure timely project delivery.
• Perform technical reviews and sign reports post quality management review.
• Research accounting standards, draft conclusions, and mentor team.
• Maintain current knowledge of AICPA Audit standards and adapt as needed.
• Coach and mentor Juniors to enhance technical competencies.
• Engage with team via MS Teams and in person.
• Propose billing for assurance projects in a clear, client-friendly way.
• Provide timely updates to contacts on engagement status.
• Supervise interns and staff weekly and conduct one-on-one meetings.
• Foster a collaborative, engaging team environment to improve retention.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
