Job summary

CCK Strategies invites an Audit & Assurance Intern for Fall 2027 in Tulsa, OK. This in-person internship will involve travel to client locations locally and out of state, supporting the Audit & Assurance team with quality services and professional development.

You will assist staff and seniors with engagement workpapers, document evidence, and identify risks while gaining hands-on experience in a collaborative, growing firm environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• No prior professional experience required; ability to master basic accounting concepts is key.
• Strong communication (verbal and written), effective time management in a dynamic environment, critical thinking to independently resolve challenges, and adaptability to a wide variety of projects.
• Bonus: Proactively seeks opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

• Prepare: Assist Staff and Seniors with the creation of engagement workpapers.
• Document: Complete detailed workpaper documentation in alignment with firm and industry standards.
• Identify: Spot and communicate areas of risk within the engagement team, applying basic accounting principles.
• Resolve: Address review notes completely and in a timely manner.
• Interact: Work directly with clients as needed.
