CCK Strategies in Frisco, TX is seeking an Audit and Assurance Intern who is motivated, highly organized, and eager to learn. You will assist in executing detailed work plans and cultivate relationships with clients while supporting the audit engagement team.

Under supervision, you will prepare workpapers, stay current with auditing standards, identify risks, and contribute to internal controls reviews. This is an opportunity to gain broad exposure to multiple industries and grow professionally

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Ability to work in a collaborative audit environment.
• Willingness to learn basic accounting concepts and standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Staff and Seniors with preparation of engagement workpapers.
• Complete detailed workpaper documentation per standards.
• Remain current with audit and accounting standards.
• Identify and communicate areas of risk within engagements.
• Work directly with clients when needed.
• Complete assigned sections within budgeted parameters.
• Address review notes timely and accurately.
• Provide training to less experienced staff under supervision.
