Job summary

Crowe's Winter Internship in Audit and Assurance in Houston offers in-depth exposure to auditing with guidance from experienced professionals. Interns will audit client financials, transactions and internal controls while using advanced analytics and visualization tools to deliver high-quality client service.

You will collaborate on diverse engagements across industries such as manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, and financial institutions.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Accounting or similar degree
• CPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
• Proficient with Excel
• Strong academic credentials
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Desire to travel
• Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed (Saturday and/or Sunday)

Responsibilities

• Audit client financials, transactions and internal control processes.
• Work independently and collaborate with a diverse group of audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service delivery.
• Use audit tools and technologies that use advanced analytics, data visualizations and process flow automation to analyze client data.
• Work on diverse client engagements including manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance and financial institution clients.
• Work on benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.
