Job summary

Crowe invites you to join the Audit and Assurance winter internship, January through March, to gain hands-on exposure to auditing and assurance. You’ll work with experienced professionals, learning day-to-day responsibilities, prepare you for CPA considerations, and develop analytics-focused skills.

You’ll audit client financials, collaborate with teams, and use Crowe’s tools to analyze data, focusing on quality and client experience.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Accounting or similar degree.
• CPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels.
• Desire to travel.
• Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed (Saturday and/or Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Audit client financials, transactions and internal control processes.
• Work independently and in collaboration with a diverse group of audit professionals to deliver exceptional client service.
• Use audit tools and technologies that use advanced analytics, data visualizations and process flow automation to analyze client data and provide exceptional client experience.
• Work on diverse client engagements including manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, dealerships, food and agriculture, insurance and financial institutions.
• Conduct benefit plan audits of 401(k), pension, or employee stock ownership plans.
