Job summary

Crowe in Lexington, Kentucky is seeking a Winter Internship in Audit & Assurance for January–March. You will gain hands-on exposure to auditing, work with experienced professionals, and use analytics and automation tools to analyze client data.

Interns will handle diverse engagements across manufacturing, not-for-profit, government, healthcare, education, construction, and more. Expect a 40-hour workweek with mentoring, collaboration, and a focus on delivering quality client service.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's and/or Master's in Accounting or similar degree.
• CPA Eligibility: You must be scheduled to meet the educational requirements to obtain a CPA license.
• Proficient with Excel.
• Strong academic credentials.
• Experience with data analytics is strongly desired.
• Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work on multiple assignments.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment with professionals of all levels.
• Desire to travel.
• Available to work/travel evenings or weekends if needed (Saturday and/or Sunday).

Responsibilities

• Audit and Assurance internship duties including auditing client financials and internal controls.
• Work with diverse audit professionals to deliver quality client service.
• Use audit tools and technologies for analytics, data visualizations, and process automation.
• Collaborate on diverse client engagements across industries.
