Job summary

CohnReznick is hiring an Audit Associate for the Miami office for Fall 2026. The role supports audit, review, and accounting services with a collaborative team in a hybrid setting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting; CPA track preferred.
  • Plan to complete 150 credit hours by September 2026 to be CPA licensed.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.2 in major and overall.
  • Leadership roles in activities are preferred.
  • Prior work or internship experience in accounting is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and demonstrates sharp critical thinking.
  • Comfortable in fast-paced environments and embracing change.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills; eager to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in areas of Audits, Reviews, Compilations, and Accounting Services.
  • Work on a variety of client deliverables and prepare work papers.
  • Resolve audit issues by obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
  • Understand the client’s accounting systems and how they operate.
  • Apply concepts of materiality and audit risk in practice.
  • Prepare well-documented, cross-referenced work papers that are easy to explain.

YOUR ROLE.

As an AuditAssociate, you willbe responsible forbecoming familiar with accounting and auditing proceduresand performing proceduresin accordance withfirm standards inan accurate, thorough, andtimelymanner.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Responsible forassistingin areas of Audits, Reviews, Compilations, and Accounting Services.
  • Work on a variety of client deliverables andpreparingwork papers.
  • Resolve audit issues obtaining evidence and making inquiries of clients.
  • Understand the client’s accounting systems.
  • Understand and apply concepts of materiality and audit risk.
  • Prepare work papers that are informative, well documented, cross-referenced,and can easily be understood and explained.
