Job summary

Plante Moran is seeking an entry to mid-level professional for audit and tax roles in a large, in-person firm. You will grow from day one, crafting business solutions beyond spreadsheets and supporting clients across diverse service lines.

The role emphasizes CP A exam progression, travel flexibility, and a strong culture focused on growth, wellbeing, and inclusion. Eligible candidates may start January 2028 as full-time staff.

Qualifications

• Detail-oriented leader with problem solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in accounting; or Master’s degree in accounting or tax.
• Academic success (minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0).
• Completion of the requisite degree and supporting credits to sit for the CPA exam with goal of CPA license.

Responsibilities

• Participating in different phases of the audit and/or tax engagement.
• Planning, testing, researching, and reporting.
• Working with compilations, reviews, compliance, financial statements, and benefit plans.
• Engaging in corporate, partnership, individual, international federal, and state & local taxes.
• Meaningful interactions with staff at all levels as well as with our impressive repertoire of clients.
• Experience working with a wealth of business opportunities throughout a professional services firm.
