Job summary

Armanino seeks an Audit Associate to work on audits from planning to completion, ensuring client financial statements are free of material misstatement. Start date: August 2, 2027.

You will assist in required procedures, document workpapers, and communicate findings to clients and the engagement team. Role involves evaluating financial statements, identifying risks, and supporting various engagements from audits to compilations.

Qualifications

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s, master’s, or certificate program in business, accounting, finance, economics, information systems or equivalent.
• Preferred: CPA licensure eligibility between December 2026–June 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist and lead in the performance and documentation of audit procedures and preparation of workpapers.
• Contribute to the completion of the audits, reviews, compilations, and various consulting engagements.
• Interpret and analyze financial statement data to form conclusions and prepare client deliverables.
• Thoroughly evaluate assigned areas of financial statements and identify potential points of risk.
• Research and analyze pertinent client, industry, and technical matters.
• Identify and perform audit procedures over the design, implementation, and effectiveness of internal controls.
• Engage with client personnel and the engagement team to develop further relationships.
