Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in accounting is required.
• Pursuing CPA education requirements for licensure in the applicable state.
• Completion of 150 credit hours prior to start date.
• Eligible to sit for the CPA exam in the state where the office is located.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Reliable transportation to attend off-site meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report.
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.
