Job summary

Forvis Mazars is seeking an internship in Accounting, Data Analytics, Economics & Finance for students aiming for CPA eligibility. This full-time opportunity offers hands-on audit experience and mentorship across diverse clients.

You will perform audit testing, reconcile data with client personnel, and contribute to draft comments and reports while participating in client meetings with partners and managers.

Qualifications

• Must maintain a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0.
• Achievement of a minimum grade of C or higher in job-relevant coursework.
• Achievement of a minimum grade of C or higher in intermediate accounting.
• Candidates must be eligible to sit for the CPA exam in at least one U.S. State by the start date of the role.
• Solid technical accounting knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from your assigned office and attend off-site meetings and events in person.

Responsibilities

• Completing audit testing on financial statement accounts such as cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets
• Working with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data
• Helping to draft management letter comments and the audit report
• Participating in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers
