We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Audit Associate to join our Assurance Department. The ideal candidate will work with a team of auditors in delivering high-quality assurance services to our diverse client base. This role is an entry level role with our firm. Essential Functions:

•Prepare workpapers for audits of non-profits and for-profit businesses.

•Work directly with senior and manager to determine and meet all client’s accounting needs.

•Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems.

•Review your work for quality, accuracy and relevance.

•Know how and when to use tools available for a given situation and can explain the reasons for this choice.

•Seek and embrace opportunities which give exposure to different situations, environments, and perspectives.

•Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Our ideal candidate is a smart, organized individual who has a professional background and is looking to take on new challenges and responsibilities.

You are tech savvy – Excel, PDF Editor, QuickBooks Online, Office 365, tax preparation software – you know them all and are comfortable learning new software programs.

Balancing multiple projects doesn’t daunt you, and you’re eager to learn new tasks and take on projects.

You’re able to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.

You’ll need great communication skills to effectively work with clients and your colleagues.

You have a great positive attitude and you’re always open to feedback that will help you continue to develop in your role and beyond.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.

•0-1 year of public accounting experience with emphasis in financial statement preparation and audits.

•Salary ranges from $60,000 + bonus (depending on experience)

•4% matching 401K plan
