Job Responsibility:

Vantage Point Solutions, based in Mitchell, SD, is seeking a full-time auditor in our growing Banking Division to work with financial institutions. We have an immediate opening for an Audit and Risk Consultant. Candidates will work remotely and must be willing to travel occasionally.

Summary/Objective

As a consultant in our Banking Division, the candidate will work with Vantage Point clients using your knowledge, expertise, and talent to provide timely completion of internal controls, operational, financial, and regulatory compliance audits for clients. You will be expected to review and assess the adequacy of the financial institution's policies and procedures as well as their ability to meet regulatory compliance requirements.

Candidates should be self-motivated, resourceful, professional and exhibit good judgement.

Competencies

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to present to executives and in board meetings
• Proficiency in common Microsoft programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Education & Experience

A bachelor's degree is strongly preferred. A minimum of two years of banking experience is required, with a focus on bank financials. Ideal candidates will possess certification in internal auditing and regulatory compliance, coupled with experience in FDICIA requirements.

Supervisory Responsibility

No direct supervisory duties.
