Job summary

CHENEGA HEALTHCARE SERVICES, LLC at Fort Bragg, NC seeks an Audiology Technician to support clinical and surveillance programs under an audiologist. You will perform non-diagnostic hearing conservation services, assist with troubleshooting and patient support, and document care in the EHR according to Army Hearing Standards.

Minimum one year of experience and Basic Life Support certification are required; CAOHC coursework prior to hire is encouraged to enable access to the DOEHRS-HC system.

Qualifications

Minimum one (1) year of experience as an Audiology Technician.
Possess and maintain a Basic Life Support certification.
Complete the CAOHC course prior to hire to enable access to the DOEHRS-HC.

Responsibilities

Support the operation of clinical and surveillance audiology programs under the supervision of an audiologist.
Perform non-diagnostic otoscopy and non-diagnostic hearing examinations per CAOHC requirements.
Troubleshoot and repair hearing aids.
Provide basic hearing aid information to patients and assist with appointments and follow-up.
Document patient care activities in the electronic health record and maintain confidentiality.
