Responsibilities include verifying insurance, updating NextGen records, scheduling appointments, completing repairs and cleanings, and providing orientation education. Strong communication and computer skills are essential for success in this team-oriented practice in

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months customer service experience required.
• Six months medical office reception experience preferred.
• Proficient computer skills and good listening skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Verify Insurance
• Update patient information in NextGen
• Schedule hearing aid appointments for all offices
• Chart Review and ensure referrals are in chart if needed
• Call patients to pick up hearing aids
• Check hearing aids dropped off
• Check in hearing aids returning from manufacturer
• Perform hearing aid repairs and cleanings
• Execute all paperwork for purchases, repairs, and returns of hearing aids
• Provide orientation education
• Troubleshoot Bluetooth issues
• Stock supplies and report needs to director
• Wipe down equipment daily and troubleshoot when necessary
