Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent with training or experience as audiology assistant or one-year medical experience or training in medical fields.
• Must interact with patients and staff in a courteous and cooperative manner and possess organizational skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills and dependable, professional, and punctual behavior.

Responsibilities

• Assist Audiologist in audiologic evaluations and in hearing-aid fitting.
• Provide direct patient support for walk-in and telephone hearing aid problems.
• Maintain a safe, stocked, cleaned and organized work area.
• Assist with ear-impression procedures and ANSI electro-acoustic evaluations of hearing aids.
• Support for members with hearing-aid problems and lab functions including quality control and paperwork.
