Job summary

ENT and Allergy Associates in West Nyack, NY is seeking a self-motivated, patient-focused Audiologist for a full-time role. The position includes diagnostic testing, fitting and programming hearing aids, and counseling patients, with a salary range of $80,000–$110,000 per year and a comprehensive benefits package. Active Audiology license and advanced degree required; Au.D.

Qualifications

• Active and current Audiology license in practice.
• Strong communication and patient counseling skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish rapport with patients, conduct audiometric testing, counsel patients, and make recommendations for hearing aids.
• Perform diagnostic testing.
• Make ear impressions and ear molds; order instruments.
• Program and fit hearing aids; assist with adjustments and patient questions.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and files.
• Manage assigned schedule to maximize patient care impact.
• Support and coach team members to achieve practice goals.

ENT and Allergy Associates, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full time licensed Audiologist for our West Nyack office location.

We are a large and successful, multi-site ENT practice seeking to expand our staff of audiologists in the New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas due to dynamic growth. If you are a Diagnostic & Dispensing audiologist, if you are driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and have the ability to effectively counsel while building patient rapport.

Salary: $80,000-$110,000/year

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Establish rapport with, and gather history from, patients; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids


• Diagnostic testing


• Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments


• Program hearing aids


• Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions or problems


• Maintain documentation and patient files


• Own assigned schedule to maximize the ability to help patients hear through opportunities


• Support and coach all team members to achieve practice goals and generation of opportunities

Position Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in Audiology, Au.D. preferred
Active and current hearing aid dispensing license
