COMPANY INFORMATION:

The Mid America Balance Institute (MABI) was founded in 2008 to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of complex vestibular and balance disorders. We offer a dynamic team environment of audiologist and physical therapists all specialized in the assessment and treatment of vestibular and neuromuscular dysfunction. In addition, we work collaboratively with physicians and healthcare providers throughout the Kansas City metro area and surrounding cities.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a full/part-time Audiologist who is experienced or has a strong interest in administering and interpretation of diagnostic vestibular tests, including VNG/ENG, cVEMP, oVEMP, ABR and EcochG testing. We offer a wide variety of opportunities for collaborative care, research involvement, and educational opportunities.

JOB DUTIES:

Job duties will include administration, interpretation, and documentation of the following vestibular assessments:

  • VNG/ENG testing
  • cVEMP
  • oVEMP
  • ABR testing
  • EcochG testing

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must have an AuD., CCC/A
  • Must have current state licensure for Audiology and/or must be eligible for licensure in the states of Missouri & Kansas.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that allow effective working relationships in a team environment. This includes listening, and problem solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Compassion, care, and respect for patients
