Our practice is located about 25-30 minutes from downtown Richmond, VA, and 2 hours from Washington, D.C. Position: Audiologist at Colonial Heights/Southside Physicians ENT

This is a fast-paced medical environment with recent growth. Our ENTs are eager to work with their Audiologist. Our suite includes four audiology rooms designated for hearing aid fitting, VNG, ABR, and hearing evaluations. We are passionate about providing comprehensive audiologic services to strengthen our clinic.

Education Requirements

• Master's Degree in Audiology required
• Doctoral degree in Audiology preferred

Experience

• Two years of clinical experience or a combination of education and experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct and interpret diagnostic audiometric tests, ABR (including newborn follow-up), VNG, VEMP, vHIT
• Perform hearing aid evaluations, counseling, fitting, and follow-up
• Potentially evaluate, counsel, fit, program, and follow-up on surgical devices
• Communicate results and recommendations to patients and physicians
• Maintain proper documentation per protocol
• Implement best audiologic practices throughout workflow
• Continue education to learn and teach new technological advancements in audiology

Licenses and Certifications

• VA State licensure in Audiology or eligibility to apply for licensure
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology (CCC-A) or American Board of Audiology Certification (preferred)
