Job description

ENT and Allergy Associates, New York & New Jersey's premier ENT and Allergy medical practice, is seeking a self-motivated, people-friendly full-time licensed Audiologist for our Riverhead office.

We are a large and successful, multi-site ENT practice seeking to expand our staff of audiologists in the New York and New Jersey area due to dynamic growth. If you are a Diagnostic & Dispensing audiologist, driven, self-motivated, and passionate about helping patients hear well again, then this may be the opportunity you are looking for. The ideal candidate must be strong clinically and have the ability to effectively counsel while building patient rapport.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Establish rapport with, and gather history from, patients; conduct audiometric testing; counsel patients; and make recommendations for hearing aids.
  2. Perform diagnostic testing.
  3. Make ear impressions, ear molds, and order instruments.
  4. Program hearing aids.
  5. Fit hearing aids and assist with any adjustments, questions, or problems.
  6. Maintain documentation and patient files.
  7. Own assigned schedule to maximize the ability to help patients hear through opportunities.
  8. Support and coach all team members to achieve practice goals and generate opportunities.
Position Qualifications:

Master's Degree in Audiology, Au.D. preferred.
Active and current hearing aid dispensing license.

  2. The ability to work in a team environment.
  3. The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members.
